Weight Loss using Phentermine
Who’s This Service For?
Men and women who are overweight and have struggled to reach weight-loss goals through diet and exercise alone. It is not intended for people who are attempting to lose a few pounds, as Phentermine is designed to assist in an overall weight-loss plan.
Phentermine is not recommended for use in adults who have a current or past medical history of heart disease, high blood pressure, hyperthyroidism, or glaucoma. In addition to an office visit with our Physician, an EKG will be performed to determine if you are a candidate for Phentermine.
How Does Phentermine Work?
Phentermine is used to suppress the appetite, decreasing your hunger and giving you the feeling of being full, for longer.
What to Expect:
Phentermine is a small tablet, taken in the morning before breakfast. You will be given some tips and information on foods to target/avoid. The medication is intended for short-term use, usually taken in cycles of no more than 3 consecutive months on the medication, with at least 9 months in between each cycle*.
Although Phentermine is one of the most commonly used prescription medications for weight-loss, it’s pharmacologic effects are similar to amphetamines. Possible side effects include:
